Between the Vondelpark and the Leidseplein (Leidsesquare), you find this lovely small and modern hotel Vondel. A footstep from all major attractions Amsterdam has to offer, between the Old South part and the centre. It is a few minutes walk to the well-known PC Hooftstraat. The street and the hotel were named after Joost van Vondel, one of the most famous Dutch authors. He lived from 1587 till 1679. 

The hotel offers 78 rooms, 3 junior suites, 34 executive rooms, 20  standard double rooms and 20 small double rooms. The small double rooms are peacefull and bright
with white wash oak furniture and a flat-screen tv. A desk is placed on the top-end the bed. All bathrooms have an over-sized walk-in soft rain shower. Further there is a bar,
a lounge, a wonderful garden where they serve in summer breakfast, lunch or High Tea. Wireless internet is available.
